Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery
negative (-) cable. |

Disconnect the purge control solenoid valve connector
(A). |

Disconnect the vapor hoses (B) from the purge control
solenoid valve.

Remove the valve from the bracket in the direction
of the arrow.
