The side airbag cannot be disassembled from the seat back assembly, so replace
the seat back assembly when replacing the side airbag. |

Disconnect the battery negative
cable and wait for at least 3 minutes before beginning work. |

Remove the front seat assembly.
(Refer to the Body group- Seat) |

Remove the seat back assembly.
(Refer to the Body group- Seat) |
Be sure to install the harness wires so they will not pinch or interfere
with other parts.
